  52. Windows 95 Installation
  53. =======================
  54. The Motion Pixels Movie CD features an automatic installation routine that
  55. runs under Windows '95. 
  56.  
  57. Insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive.  Windows 95 will scan the disc and
  58. begin the installation process.
  59.  
  60. If the setup does not start automatically, go to the Start Menu in the
  61. Windows 95 taskbar and select "Run".
  62.  
  63. In the "Run" dialog box, type the CD-ROM drive letter,( i.e. F:\) SETUP.EXE
  64. or choose the "Browse" button. Select the appropriate drive letter under
  65. "Look In", then click on the SETUP icon. Click on "OK" to begin the
  66. installation.

  68. The Install Shield wizard will appear. When this wizard is complete, click
  69. on "Next" to continue or "Cancel" to abort the installation.

  71. Click "Next" to continue the installation in the Welcome screen, click
  72. "Back" to go to the previous screen, or "Cancel" to abort the process.

  74. In the Change Destination Directory dialog box, click on "Next". This will
  75. create a directory called "C:\MPIXELS" on the local hard disk.

  77. Note:    As the installation progresses, the system will be checked for any
  78. necessary files needed to run the Movie CD program.  For example, if
  79. Microsoft Video for Windows already exists on your system, it will not be
  80. reinstalled.  The Movie CD program will make all the necesary modifications
  81. to your system files.

  83. Once the Motion Pixels Program Group is created, click on "Finish" to
  84. complete the installation.  The Movie CD program will launch automatically.

  87. To remove the Movie CD program from the system, go to the Windows 95 Start
  88. Menu, select "Settings", then "Control Panel".

  90. Click on the "Add\Remove Programs" icon and choose "The Motion Pixels Movie
  91. Player"

  93. Click on the "Add\Remove" button and confirm that you want to delete the
  94. files.

  96. The Uninstall Shield program will launch and remove all applicable files
  97. from the system. Close the "Add\Remove Programs" dialog box when finished.

  100. Windows 3.1 Installation
  101. ========================
  102. To install the Movie CD program under Windows 3.1 or Windows for Workgroups
  103. 3.11, do the following:
  104.  
  105. Insert the CD disc into the CD-ROM drive.  In the Windows Program Manager,
  106. select "File", then"Run".
  107.  
  108. In the Command Line box, type the CD-ROM drive letter,( i.e. F:\) SETUP.EXE
  109. or choose the     "Browse" button. Select the appropriate drive letter under
  110. "Drives", then click on SETUP.EXE.  Click on "OK" when ready to proceed.

  112. Click "OK" in the Run dialog box to begin the installation.

  133. Note:    A message may appear "No DCI driver installed". This error message
  134. is not an error messages at all, but a status message stating that your
  135. video performance will increase if you have a DCI driver for your specific
  136. video adapter.  Please consult the manufacturer's website for more
  137. information.

  139. To remove the Movie CD program from the system, click on the Uninstall
  140. icon in the Motion Pixels Program Group.
